Mobile Deposit

Use your iPhone, iPad, Android or other internet-enabled device that has a camera to take a picture of the front and back of your check and make a deposit anytime, anywhere. Select which share you’d like the check deposited, verify the check image and amount, then submit the deposit.

Members must first log into Online Banking at least one time and Enable Mobile Access prior to using Mobile Deposit through the Mobile App.

How to Apply for Mobile Deposit
  1. Click the APPLY NOW button in the upper right corner.
  2. You must fill in ALL required information and provide a valid email address in order for your application to be processed.
  3. In the Services Requested section, check the box next to Mobile Deposit.
    If you do not yet have Online Banking, also check the box next to Online and Mobile Banking.
  4. In the Mobile Deposit Section, click to view our Mobile Deposit Disclosure.
  5. At the bottom of the application page, click Submit.

You will receive an email notification within 24 hours if your application was submitted Monday through Friday. Applications received on Saturday, Sunday or Holidays will be processed the next business day.

How to Make a Mobile Deposit
  1. If you have not already done so, download the PFFCU Mobile App through the App Store on your iPhone, iPad or Google Play on your Android device.
  2. Log into the PFFCU Mobile App.
    • Your Mobile login credentials are the same as your Online Banking ID and Password.
    • For best results, do not use a public (such as Starbucks, McDonalds) or free (such as Xfinity, AT&T) WiFi connection.
  3. Review the presented license Online User Agreement and tap Accept to continue (You will only need to do this the first time you make a Mobile Deposit).
  4. Tap Menu icon (3 bar symbol)
  5. Tap Deposit icon.
    • Ensure the numbers on the bottom of the check do not have any perforations or marks in them.
    • Before you take the picture, be sure to properly endorse your check with the following (print clearly using Black or Blue ink). Checks not properly endorsed as below may be rejected:
      Your signature
      Mobile Deposit PFFCU
      XXXXXXXX (write your account number in place of the Xs).

  6. Tap Plus icon.
  7. Tap Front of Check camera icon to take a picture of the front of the check.
  8. Tap Back of Check camera icon to take a picture of the back of the check.
  9. Tap Deposit to (Select which share you would like to deposit the check).
  10. Tap to enter the check amount.
  11. Tap Deposit.
  12. Upon receipt of confirmation that PFFCU has received the Mobile Deposit, prominently write on the front of the check Electronically Deposited on XX/XX/XXXX (write in month, day, and year in place of Xs).

You should receive an email once your deposit has been processed.
To check the status of your deposit, log into the Mobile App, tap Deposit, then tap the applicable Check Deposit item.


There are limits to the number  and amount of items that may be deposited through this service. For items not accepted due to exceeded limit, you can use Mobile Deposit the next day, mail in the deposit, deposit the check at an ATM or visit your nearest PFFCU Branch.

All checks received before 3:00 P.M. each business weekday will be reviewed for deposit that day and will appear on your account after 3:30 P.M. Deposits made on weekends, Federal Holidays or later than 3:00 P.M. on a business day, will appear after 3:30 P.M. on the next business weekday.
