Apple Pay is a FREE mobile payment and digital wallet service you can use to make payments using your Apple devices or computer. Add your PFFCU Credit or Debit Card in just a few quick steps to start using Apple Pay.

What do I need to use Apple Pay?

How do I add a PFFCU Credit or Debit Card in Apple Pay?

If you want to use Apple Pay with more than one device, you need to add your card to each device.

To add a card to your iPhone:

  • Go to Wallet and tap Add Credit or Debit Card.
  • Follow the steps to add a new card.
  • Tap Next. Either take a picture of your card or enter the card information. PFFCU will verify your information and decide if you can add your card to Apple Pay. After PFFCU verifies your card, go back to Wallet and tap your card to see if approved, then tap Next and you can start using Apple Pay.

To add a card on your iPad:

  • Go to Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay.
  • Tap Add Credit or Debit Card.
  • Follow the steps to add a new card.
  • Tap Next. Enter the card information. PFFCU will verify your information and decide if you can add your card to Apple Pay. After PFFCU verifies your card, go back to Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay and tap your card to see if approved, then tap Next and you can start using Apple Pay.

To add a card on your Apple Watch:

  • Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, go to the My Watch tab.
  • Tap Wallet & Apple Pay.
  • Follow the steps to add a card. If the card is already on your iPhone, tap Addnext to the card. To add a new card, tap Add Credit or Debit Card.
  • Follow the steps to add a new card.
  • Tap Next. Enter the card information, PFFCU will verify your information and decide if you can add your card to Apple Pay. Go back to Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay and tap your card to see if approved, then tap Next and you can start using Apple Pay.

To add a card on your MacBook Pro with Touch ID:

  • Go to System Preferences > Wallet & Apple Pay.
  • Tap Add Card.
  • Follow the steps to add a new card.
  • Tap Next. Enter the card information, PFFCU will verify your information and decide if you can add your card to Apple Pay. After PFFCU verifies your card, go back to Wallet & Apple Pay and tap your card to see if approved, then tap Next and you can start using Apple Pay.
How do I make my PFFCU Credit or Debit Card my default card in Apple Pay?

The first card you add to Apple Pay will be the default payment card. To change your default card:

  • iPhone or iPad: open the main Settings app on the device. Go to Wallet & Apple Pay, tap Default Card, then tap the PFFCU card you select as your default card.
  • Apple Watch: open the Watch app on your iPhone. Go to the My Watch tab, tap Wallet & Apple Pay > Default Card, then choose your PFFCU Card to select as your default card.
  • MacBook Pro with Touch ID: Apple Pay only works with the Safari browser. Go to System Preferences > Wallet & Apple Pay. Select a card from the Default Card pop-up menu.
How do I pay with Apple Pay?

In Stores: Look for Apple Pay icons, then hold your iPhone or Apple Watch near the reader with your finger on Touch ID or double-click the side button on your Apple Watch, then hold it near the reader.

Within Apps: Tap the Buy with Apple Pay or Apple Pay button or choose Apple Pay as your payment method. After you verify your information, when you’re ready to make your purchase on your iPhone or iPad, place your finger on Touch ID. On your Apple Watch, double-click the side button.

On the Web: Tap the Apple Pay or Buy with Apple Pay button. After you verify your information, when you’re ready to make your purchase, follow the prompts on the Touch Bar and place your finger on Touch ID.

Is Apple Pay Safe & Secure?

Apple Pay is a safe way to pay. When you make a purchase, Apple Pay uses a device-specific number and unique transaction code. Your card number is never stored on your device or Apple servers, and when you pay, your card numbers are never shared by Apple with merchants.
