Nearly $22 Million Returned to Members*

PFFCU Thanks its Members with the 2022 Member Bonus

As we wrap up 2022, we stay committed to providing exceptional value to our members by offering higher deposit yields, lower loan rates, and fewer fees. As an additional way to say thank you for your membership and trust, we are proud to have again returned nearly $22 Million through our Member Bonus Program.*

Since the start of the program in 2018, we’ve returned over $100 Million to our members during the month of December. The Member Bonus was posted to members’ S1 Savings Accounts or IRA Accounts this morning.

The Member Bonus is calculated from share dividends earned, loan interest paid, and courtesy overdraft fees paid during the Member Bonus timeframe which wrapped on November 30, 2022. This year, all eligible members received 8% of that total.

If you have questions about the Member Bonus program, please see our Member Bonus FAQs.

* Student Loans were not eligible for the Member Bonus. To have received the Member Bonus, you must have met all eligibility criteria and had an open/active savings account in good standing on the deposit date. You must not have caused PFFCU a loss with a charged-off loan(s) and/ or a negative share charge-off(s) within the current year or the previous 5 years. Member Bonus payout requires that you must have accumulated enough dividends, loan interest (including interest on sold mortgage loans) or courtesy overdraft fees to qualify for at least a $1 Member Bonus. Maximum Member Bonus payout was $1,000. The combined balances of all first mortgages that were sold to Fannie Mae and active as of November 30, 2022 were eligible to receive up to $100 for the Member Bonus Program in 2022.  The Member Bonus may be taxable and a portion will be included on a 1099-INT form.
